The Annexx opened in March 2008 and at the same time we launched an enormous town fashion show which raised over £7000 for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home (now the Rennie Grove Hospice).
Onwards from there we have been involved in and organised many such charitable functions including:
CreativiTea, a wonderful retro tea party, created by entrepreneur Rose Scarborough to raise funds to renovate her Town Hall studio. This event including guest appearances from Imelda Staunton and Jim Carter (Downton Abbey's Carson)
The Gatsby Fashion Show in conjunction with local fashion shop Amelie raised over £4,500 for the Henry Fraser Trust Fund
We were part of the organising committee that planned Henry's Orange Ball at Pinewood Studios which raised around £40,000.
More recently in 2014 Charlotte and Rebecca organised, with the Annexx Team, the XXenna Fashion Show which raised over £4,500 for Great Ormond Street and Riding for the Disabled.
The Little Princess Trust which provides real hair wigs to children across the UK and Ireland who have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
We believe in giving back to our local community and continue to work with local schools, like Ashlyns School, when they need help in organising their shows and regularly get involved in Red Nose events, Breast Cancer fund raisers and so on.
