I attended London College of Fashion for two of my best years.
I started my own business when I turned 50! It's never too late!
I was in the E4 Great British Hairdresser TV Show in 2010 and Extreme Hair Wars  on Channel 5 in 2018.
I was obsessed with flamenco dancing in my 40's.
I own two custom built dollhouses my husband built for me for Christmas aged 30.
If I wasn't a hairdresser I would have been an interior designer.
My children and grandchildren are the best things I helped invent!
My favourite things are
Time off: I love cooking on Sundays for my family, going on long walks, skiing,
and spending as much time as I can with my grand children

I have been in the hair industry for 22 years. 

My true love is cutting bobs and all forms of colouring and creating the perfect bouncy blow dry. 

Most recently I have completed two colour courses, one on Balayage in Barcelona learning new techniques, and a colour course specialising in Colour Correction at the Redken Exchange in London. 

I have now returned  to the UK permanently from Barcelona with my husband and my two gorgeous children Sophia and Austin. 

My working hours will be 9am to 4pm Tuesday to Friday. 

I have looked after the back office for the Annexx and have been part of the Team from the start in 2008

I've been part of the Annexx Team since January 2011.


I joined the Annexx as an Apprentice and progressed to Level 6 Senior Stylist and Salon Manager.  I gained  Level 1 NVQ hair and beauty, and Level 2 and 3 NVQ in hairdressing, I've been on numerous colour and cutting courses, which I love, and gained my Redken Certified Hair Colorist qualification (its like a degree in hair colour knowledge). I’m so proud of myself!


I am TAQA qualified which means I can assess and monitor our Apprentices during their apprenticeship.   My next goal is to study Trichology (the study of hair and scalp issues). I also love cutting bobs and “old school” men's Barbering, close shave anyone? 


I also get a huge buzz from Clients leaving the Annexx thrilled and feeling beautiful! (That is my aim!)


Before I started hairdressing I completed my A-levels and thought I was going to be the next Adele.. ...maybe I haven't had my big break yet in that department!

I have been in the industry for 22 years now and am passionate about colouring and cutting.  I also love working on Brazilian Blowdrys.  I love to make people look and feel good about themselves. I joined the Annexx Team a few years ago now and immediately knew that the standard was high and I embraced the challenge learning fresh ideas and new trends. I have entered many competitions involving colour.


I love roast dinners, hate bananas. I live for my family and friends.

I'm Loretta and I trained at the Annexx to become a Level 2 Stylist.


I am originally from Hungary and have lived in the UK for the last 10 years or so.


As far as hair styling goes I absolutely love everything about hair but in particular the technique called 'Money Pieces'!  It's a strange name but it is face-framing lightened sections at the front of your hair, designed to highlight and brighten your face, and provide a contrast to your all-over colour. Stylists use a variety of techniques to get the look, and it varies from Stylist to Stylist whether they use highlights, babylights, weaves, or slices.


The result is stunning!


I also love traditional one length cuts, finished off with my amazing bouncy blow drys (she said modestly!)


I am always looking to gain more experience and fine tune my expertise so please phone the Annexx and book in with me!


My hobbies include:

Reading!  I love reading!  My favourite authors are Margaret Atwood, Stephen King, Anne Rice and J K Rowling.

Travelling! I would love to visit Europe a bit more, especially Germany as there are so many beautiful castles

Obviously I love Hungarian food and cooking it as well!

My cat Nemo (he doesn't like fish!) is my number one passion,  I do love all animals though!



 Libby - Apprentice

I'm Libby and I am training towards my Level 2 NVQ in hairdressing at the Annexx.


I've always been a creative person and with my love for art and music as well as being the friend who always enjoys doing other people's hair and makeup, it seemed natural to apply my interests to a career in hairdressing.  I am thoroughly enjoying the apprenticeship and am really interested in the science behind hair as well as the gorgeous end result.  I am very keen to learn everything to do with colouring and also find cutting super satisfying.


I'm a very extrovert person and love a chat, so in my spare time I love to surround myself with my friends, whether it be a chilled night in watching chick flicks or a fun night out.  I also love to listen to, and play music, in my spare time.  My favourite type of music being girly girl music like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Sabrina Carpenter.

Alex - Apprentice

Hi I'm Alex and I am training as an Apprentice working towards my Level 2 NVQ qualification.


I chose the Annexx to do my Apprenticeship because both the standard and variety of work is incredibly high.


To me, there is such magic in learning the creative process within all the different facets of hair.  I'm loving building on the different elements from cutting, styling, hair texture theory and colouring techniques.  Hair is such a statement of personal expression.


A massive moment for me was attending the Alternative Hair Show.  My mind was absolutely blown away by the world of hair!


I'm excited to develop my ability within all aspects of my training, and if I had to pick right now, I'd say that I have a leaning towards cutting and styling.  There are so many styles I'm really looking forward to developing.

My favourite things  are live music and comedy (Roisin Conaty is my absolute fave!)  and I adore everything that brings colour to life.  I would be completely lost without my Spotify account; there are a shocking number of playlists on there.  As much as I try, how does ABBA always make an appearance?!  Sam Fender lives in my top 5 artists of all time.  I think dancing is  probably one of the most fun you can have on the planet.  Above everything though are my Family and Friends.
